We willen dat iedereen onze plannen kan lezen. Daarom hebben we een korte versie gemaakt in eenvoudige taal.
Vergroening en woningen in Kronenburg
Met het ontwikkelperspectief Kronenburg pakt de gemeente Arnhem twee grote problemen aan: hittestress en een woningtekort. De wijk wordt enorm vergroend, er komen zo’n 1100 woningen bij en met een verbetering van het winkelcentrum komen de voorzieningen ook op een hoger niveau.
GroenLinks wil klimaatnoodtoestand uitroepen
De klimaatcrisis is de grootste opgave van onze tijd. Het bedreigt het leven op aarde. Daarom wil GroenLinks dat we als Arnhem de klimaatnoodtoestand uitroepen. Daarvoor dient GroenLinks met Partij voor de Dieren, Arnhem Centraal en PvdA een motie in.
A fair city with equal opportunity for all
GroenLinks wants a fair solution to the current housing crisis. We will build more houses, especially for starters, the elderly and families. People who use houses as an investment opportunity will get no more room in Arnhem. Houses are not meant for people to become rich. They are for people to live in. Poverty has no place in our city. We will fight poverty and help people to find employment. Everone should be able to make ends meet. No child deserves to grow up in poverty.
A city where you can be yourself
The city belongs to everyone. We want Arnhem to be a city where everyone can feel at home. There is no place for racism or discrimination. We want to decide the future of Arnhem together with the people who live here. Arnhem should be a city where art and culture can be found everywhere.
Combatting the climate crisis
The climate crisis is the biggest challenge of our time. In the city council, GroenLinks has made great strides in making our city greener and more sustainable. We are the only party that is both green and left. We combine these aspects to figth climate change in a fair way. We will make the city drastically greener. We will invest in more trees, bicycle lanes and clean air.

Elden beschermd dorpsgezicht
Elden heeft als dorp in de stad – met haar monumenten, groen, kolken en dijken – unieke landschaps- en cultuurhistorische waarde. GroenLinks wil dat deze groene en historische dorpsstructuur in stand blijft. Daarom dienen we met andere partijen een motie in om van een deel van Elden een beschermd dorpsgezicht te maken.
